Long after evening rush hour, two separate tractor-trailer wrecks made a mess of traffic on Tuesday night, the AJC reports.
A tractor-trailer heading northbound on I-285 sent concrete into lanes of traffic after crashing into the median wall around 8:30 p.m. All northbound lanes of I-285, just north of I-20, and several southbound lanes were closed shortly before 10 p.m. as cleanup continued. Northbound lanes re-opened just before 11 p.m.
Investigators believe the tractor-trailer hydroplaned, which caused it to hit the median in several places. There were no injuries reported.
In a separate incident, a tractor-trailer wreck closed several lanes of I-85 northbound at I-285 in DeKalb County. No one was injured.
