Two Middle School Students Injured in Pennsylvania Plane Crash

Two students were involved in small airplane accident on Wednesday morning, when the plane went off the runway and over an embankment.

The students were accompanied by a teacher, who was also hospitalized for injuries, during an aviation field trip. The pilot of the small aircraft was also hospitalized.  Officials are still investigating the cause of the dreadful crash.

The aviation accident resulted in 14-year-old Matthew Strenskowski, breaking his neck in three places and fractured back vertebrae, according to the boy’s father.  The other 13-year-old student involved in the plane crash has been released from the hospital.
