A 23-year-old man walking on the Downtown Connector was killed after being struck with a vehicle. According to the medical examiner’s report, the pedestrian died due to blunt force trauma.
Police suspect the victim may have been hit by a heavy truck, but officials are still investigating. No drivers have come forth at this time.
