Our very own Marc Howard, co-founder of Pope & Howard, P.C., has been appointed the new Education Chair for the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association (GTLA). He will be responsible for the organization of continuing legal education events for all GTLA members.
To keep their licenses, all lawyers in the state of Georgia must take 12 hours per year of continuing education classes. GTLA is known for providing high quality education on a wide variety of topics related to trial practice.
Right now, Howard is planning an event with the Auto Torts seminar in Hilton Head. The seminar will address a range of topics from truck and car wrecks to product defects and the presentation of evidence at trial. Trial lawyers from across the state are attending.
Howard, a 2012 Georgia Super Lawyer who was also named a “Legal Elite” lawyer in Georgia Trend Magazine, received his Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia’s School of Law in 1993.
