Marc Howard is listed in the Bar Register of Pre-Eminent Lawyers and maintains an AV Peer Review Rating by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest possible rating. Marc spent the first half of his legal career representing airlines, trucking companies, contractors, airports and insurance companies in complex cases. Since that time, he has represented individuals, families and businesses that have been harmed as the result of wrongful conduct by others.
In addition to his experience in the field of aviation and trucking, Marc represented Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and Savannah-Hilton Head International Airport for many years. During this time, Marc built a specialty practice involving premises liability. Among the many cases Marc has handled are those involving serious injuries and death as the result of construction site accidents, criminal attacks on premises and injuries involving hazardous premises conditions.
Marc is an active member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association (GTLA) and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Civil Justice Political Action Committee of GTLA. Marc has also been a regular speaker at seminars and has been invited to speak at the national Aviation Law Seminar at Southern Methodist University. Marc has testified before the Georgia General Assembly on matters involving legal reform and attorney conduct. Marc is currently the Chairman of the GTLA Amicus Committee, which submits briefs to the Georgia Supreme Court and Court of Appeals regarding numerous legal issues.
